The 198th Eid jamaat was held in the historic Sholakia Eidgah in Kishoreganj on Saturday.
The congregation, which took place at 9AM, was led by Mufti Abul Khayer Mohammad Saifullah.
Locals informed that while approximately 600,000 worshippers attended the Eid-ul-Fitr congregation, fewer worshippers tppk part the Eid-ul-Azha jamaat due to the busyness of the animal sacrifice.
Devotees began arriving at the Sholakia Eidgah—situated on the eastern edge of Kishoreganj town near the Norosunda River—early in the morning.
