A mild earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale was felt in the Baipail area of Gazipur on Saturday morning.
Nizamuddin Ahmed, an official of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, confirmed that the earthquake jolted the area at 10:36am.
Yesterday, at least 10 people were killed in a powerful earthquake that shook several parts of the country, including Dhaka.
