Police on Monday recovered six bomb-like objects in an abandoned condition from an under-construction building adjacent to Rabeya Workshop in East Madarbari under Sadarghat Police Station in Chattogram.
According to police, the piling work of an under-construction multi-storey was going on. The workers found six bomb-like objects while lifting the soil and informed police.
Being informed, a team of police rushed the scene and recovered the bombs, said Sadarghat Police Station officer-in-charge Ramiz Ahmed.
The furthers step would be taken after checking whether the bombs were active or inactive, the OC added.
