Six people sustaining severe burn injuries after a fire erupted a garment factory in Narayanganj BSCIC industrial area on Sunday morning.
Around 8:30am, the fire broke out at the boiler room of the factory due to a gas pipeline leakage.
The injured have been identified as: Al Amin, 30, Azizullah, 32, Md Selim, 35, Md Jalal Molla, 40, Nazmul Huda, 35 and security personnel Nur Mohammad, 35.
All the six are undergoing treatment for critical injuries at the emergency department of the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute, said the facility’s Resident Surgeon Dr Shawon Bin Rahman.
