At least five people were killed in a head-on collision between two buses in Lohagara, Chattogram, this morning.
The accident occurred around 7:30 am on Monday (March 31), the day of Eid, according to fire service officials. Talha Bin Jasim, media officer of the Fire Service, confirmed the incident to the media.
He stated that a Saudia Paribahan bus collided head-on with a minibus near the Jangalia Mazar Gate area of Lohagara, resulting in casualties.
Upon receiving the report, a unit from the Lohagara Fire Station launched a rescue operation. Further details will be disclosed later. The identities of the victims have not yet been confirmed.
