Hollywood actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie has strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli occupation and destruction in Gaza, labeling it a grave humanitarian catastrophe and urging global leaders to act immediately.

In a powerful social media post, Jolie amplified the message of humanitarian organizations, describing the situation in Gaza as a “mass grave for Palestinians and their rescuers.” She criticized the renewed Israeli military operations across land, air, and sea, accusing Israeli forces of deliberately displacing civilians and blocking critical aid.

“Palestinian lives are being systematically destroyed once again,” the post read, highlighting the threats faced by humanitarian and healthcare workers amid escalating attacks.

The post urged Israeli authorities to lift the “inhumane and devastating siege” on Gaza and called for the urgent protection of Palestinian civilians, along with humanitarian and medical personnel. Jolie also expressed hope for the restoration of a ceasefire to end the bloodshed.

This is not the first time Jolie has publicly supported Gaza. Nearly a year and a half ago, she shared a post on Instagram condemning what she described as a “deliberate bombing campaign” on a trapped population with no escape. Calling Gaza an “open-air prison rapidly becoming a mass grave,” she pointed out that 40% of the casualties were innocent children, with entire families being wiped out.

She criticized world leaders for standing by silently or even supporting the ongoing violence. “Millions of Palestinian civilians—children, women, families—are being collectively punished and deprived of food, medicine, and humanitarian aid,” she wrote, adding that by refusing to demand or enforce a ceasefire, global powers are complicit in the ongoing atrocities.

Since October 2023, over 51,000 Palestinians—mostly women and children—have reportedly been killed in Gaza due to Israeli military operations, sparking global outrage and urgent calls for international intervention.
