Bangladesh have dropped to the tenth spot in the latest ICC ODI rankings following a string of poor performances in recent series, losing valuable rating points amid a challenging run in the 50-over format.
Bangladesh’s downward trajectory in One Day Internationals continues, as they fall one place to tenth in the updated ICC rankings. The team’s recent ODI struggles have cost them four rating points, leaving them with 76 in total.
The Tigers failed to deliver in back-to-back series losses—first against Afghanistan, then West Indies. Their woes deepened after a disappointing campaign in the ICC Champions Trophy held in Pakistan and Dubai, where they exited without winning a single match.
As a result of Bangladesh’s decline, West Indies have moved up to ninth. However, despite their ODI setback, Bangladesh maintain their ninth position in both the Test and T20I formats.
India remain at the top of the ODI rankings, while New Zealand have climbed to second following Australia’s slip to third. Sri Lanka have also moved up, now occupying fourth place. The rest of the top eight includes Pakistan, South Africa, Afghanistan, and England.
