“Digital Skills for Students” activation program held at CUET

Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) hosted an activation program titled “Digital Skills for Students” on Thursday at IT Business Incubator auditorium.

The event was organized by Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with aim of equipping students with essential digital competencies to meet demands of modern technological landscape.

CUET Acting Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Faculty of Urban and Environmental Strategy, Prof. Dr. Sudip Kumal Pal, attended the program as chief guest.

The session was presided over by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Arefin, Dean of Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Project Coordinator at CUET.

Distinguished guests included Prof. Dr. Md. Shamsul Alam, Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering at International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), Prof. Dr. Pranab Kumar Dhar, Head of CUET’s CSE Department and Md. Golam Moktader Naim, Head of CSE Department at Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST).

The activation program highlighted the importance of digital literacy in academia and industry, encouraging students to embrace digital tools and technologies to enhance their learning and future careers.
