Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a stern warning to the United States and Israel, vowing to retaliate following recent airstrikes on its territory.
In a statement released on Sunday, the IRGC said it would “use options beyond the understanding” of Washington and Tel Aviv, and described retaliation as its “legitimate right to self-defence.”
“The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is well aware of the terrain of this combined and full-scale imposed war and will never be intimidated by the clamor of Trump and the criminal gang ruling the White House and Tel Aviv,” the statement added.
The warning comes amid heightened tensions following coordinated Israeli and US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
