BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir visited the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) to see ailing Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur this noon.
Fakhrul went to the hospital at about 12:15pm on Tuesday (2 September) and inquired about the health condition of Nur.
Nur, also a former DUCSU VP, was injured on August 29 as army and police charged batons during clashes between activists and leaders of Jatiya Party and Gono Odhikar Parishad in the city’s Bijoynagar area.
Later, Nur was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a critically condition. On Monday afternoon, he was transferred to a cabin after his physical condition improved.
