Polling in the JUCSU and hall union elections was suspended at Tajuddin Ahmad Hall and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Hall on Thursday.
Election officials confirmed that voting was halted following complaints and irregularities.
Further details on the cause and possible resumption of polling are yet to be announced by the university election commission.
