German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has strongly condemned the idea of expelling Palestinians from Gaza, calling such plans “unacceptable” following U.S. President Donald Trump’s suggestion to relocate Palestinians to Egypt and Jordan.

In response to recent statements, Scholz emphasized his firm stance against any plans to relocate Gaza’s population, stating that such an idea is not acceptable. He reiterated his support for a two-state solution, asserting that peace can only be achieved when Palestinians have hope for a self-governed future.

Liberty News’ international correspondent reports Scholz added that peace cannot be built on the idea of a Palestinian state in areas beyond the West Bank and Gaza’s autonomy, stressing that the responsibility for Gaza must lie with the Palestinian Authority.
