Ijtema : Second phase concludes with final prayer today

The second phase of the first part of the Bishwa Ijtema is concluding today in Tongi, Gazipur. The final prayer (Akheri Munajat) will be held between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM. It will be led by Hafiz Maulana Muhammad Zubair Ahmed, a senior member of the Shura-e-Nizam, as confirmed by the media coordinator of Shura-e-Nizam, Habibullah Raihan.

According to the organizers, after the Fajr prayer on Wednesday, Maulana Farooq from Bangalore, India, delivered a sermon. At 9:30 AM, Maulana Abdur Rahman from Hindustan gave the Hedayati Bayan (guidance speech), followed by an important address by Maulana Ibrahim Deola from India.

During the second phase of the Bishwa Ijtema, 23 couples were married without dowry. These weddings took place on Tuesday after the Asr prayer at the main sermon stage of the Ijtema ground, following the Mahr (dower) tradition of Hazrat Fatima (RA) and Hazrat Ali (RA).

The first phase of the Bishwa Ijtema concluded with the Akheri Munajat on Sunday (February 2). The second phase began on Monday (February 3) and is set to end today (Wednesday).

According to the Liberty News local correspondent, after an 8-day break, the second phase of the Bishwa Ijtema will begin on February 14, led by the followers of Maulana Saad from India. The 2025 Bishwa Ijtema will conclude with the Akheri Munajat on February 16.
