Bangladesh unveils Champions Trophy jersey

The Champions Trophy is knocking at the door, with only three days left. The curtain will rise on this prestigious tournament, known as the Championship of Champions, starting from the 19th of this month. Ahead of the mega tournament, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) unveiled the new jersey on Sunday, February 16.

The jersey for the Champions Trophy was revealed in a video published on BCB’s official Facebook page. The jersey features the golden image of a tiger on the red and green theme of the Bangladeshi flag.

The video of the jersey unveiling showcased 15 cricketers from the squad, including captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, pacers Nahid Rana and Taskin Ahmed, leg-spinner Rishad Hossien.

Bangladesh will begin their journey in the tournament with a match against India in Dubai on February 20. Following that, Najmul Hossain Shanto’s team will play against New Zealand on February 24 and conclude the group stage with a match against the host nation, Pakistan, on February 27.

This global event will be broadcast live on TV in 12 countries and regions. Additionally, for the first time, an ICC event will be streamed on a digital platform. Viewers will be able to enjoy the tournament’s matches across 16 feeds in 9 languages on the digital platform. Alongside English, fans will have the opportunity to listen to commentary in Bengali, Hindi, Marathi, Haryanvi, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada.

Cricket fans in Bangladesh can enjoy the matches live on T Sports , Nagorik TV. Additionally, the matches will be available for online streaming on the Toffee App. Live commentary can be heard on Radio Shadhin 92.4 and Radio Bhumi 92.8. Moreover, viewers from 80 countries worldwide can watch every match for free on the ICC’s own digital platform, ICC TV.
