The Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party began its fifth founding anniversary celebrations on Friday morning with a vibrant rally starting from its central office and ending at the National Press Club.
Marking its fifth year since inception, the AB Party launched its anniversary program with a festive procession through the capital. The rally, which started at the party’s Dhaka headquarters, concluded at the National Press Club where a cake-cutting ceremony and discussion session were held with party leaders and activists.
BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is set to join the discussion as the chief guest. Distinguished guests include Mahmudur Rahman Manna, President of Nagorik Oikya; AFM Solaiman Chowdhury, AB Party Founder and Convener; Nahid Islam, Convener of NCP; Mostafa Jamal Haider, Chairman of Jatiya Party; Zonayed Saki, Convener of Ganosamhati Andolon; Comrade Saiful Haque, General Secretary of the Revolutionary Workers Party; Nurul Haque Nur, President of Gono Odhikar Parishad; Dr. Dilara Chowdhury, prominent political scientist; Dr. Ahmad Abdul Qader, Secretary General of Khilafat Majlish; Maulana Mamunul Haque, Ameer of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlish; and Bobby Hajjaj, Chairman of NDM.
The anniversary celebration aims to showcase national unity and opposition solidarity, bringing together leaders from a broad spectrum of political parties and civic movements.
