Israel has been accused of hitting a third hospital in Tehran early Friday, escalating concerns over repeated strikes on medical facilities during the ongoing conflict.

According to Hossein Kermanpour, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Health, three hospitals in the capital have now been targeted, alongside six ambulances and a comprehensive health services centre. The claim was reported by the Tehran Times, citing Kermanpour’s statement on social media.

“These are clear violations of international conventions,” Kermanpour said, calling the repeated attacks “hostile and inhumane.”

Earlier in the week, Israel reportedly launched a missile strike on Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah, western Iran, causing significant structural damage and injuring patients.

On Saturday, a drone hit near Hakim Children’s Hospital in southern Tehran, prompting condemnation from Iranian health officials and humanitarian groups, who labelled the attacks as violations of international law and medical neutrality.

Iran has called on international bodies to take urgent action, warning that the targeting of healthcare facilities constitutes a war crime under global conventions.
