As panic and chaos gripped the Milestone School and College in Uttara following the horrific fighter jet crash, a Bangladesh Army rescue team led by Lieutenant Colonel Tahsin arrived at the scene within just two minutes—racing against time to save lives.

Ignoring personal safety risks, the soldiers swiftly entered the burning school building moments after the crash and began pulling students out of smoke-filled classrooms.

Eyewitnesses said the army team took immediate action even before the arrival of the Fire Service. “They broke standard protocol to move quickly,” said one parent. “Their courage and rapid response saved many young lives.”

A soldier involved in the rescue operation shared, “We didn’t think twice—we rushed straight into the building. Our only goal was to get the children out safely.”

Parents, school authorities, and local residents have praised the military for their humane and rapid action during the crisis.

Many believe that without the prompt intervention led by Lieutenant Colonel Tahsin, the number of casualties could have been significantly higher.

This incident once again highlights how decisive action and fearless leadership can be the difference between life and death in moments of extreme crisis.
