Army Chief urges EME corps to prepare for future challenges

At the annual commanding officer conference of the EME Corps, held at the EME Center and School in Syedpur, Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman emphasized the need for modern training to face upcoming challenges.

The annual commanding officers’ conference of the EME Corps was held on Sunday at the EME Center and School (EMECS) in Syedpur. General Waker-uz-Zaman, Chief of Army Staff, graced the event as the chief guest.

Addressing the commanders and officers present, the Army Chief highlighted the significant contributions of the EME Corps to the Bangladesh Army and the nation. He urged members of the EME Corps to enhance their capabilities through modern training to meet the challenges of the 21st century. General Waker-uz-Zaman expressed confidence that each member would set exemplary standards in serving the nation in the future.

Liberty News’ national correspondent states that the event was attended by senior military officials, including the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army Training and Doctrine Command, the Commandant of the EME Center and School, and commanders from various EME units across Bangladesh. Media representatives were also present.
