The 2025 Men’s Asia Cup will be held in the UAE from 09 September to 28 September, with Bangladesh set to open their campaign on 11 September against Hong Kong.
Placed in Group B alongside Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong, the Tigers will next face Sri Lanka on 13 September, followed by a key group-stage encounter against Afghanistan on 16 September.
The top two teams from each group will advance to a Super Four stage, from which the top two will qualify for the final on 28 September.
Group A features India, Pakistan, Oman, and hosts UAE. India and Pakistan will meet in a high-voltage clash on 14 September. The tournament begins with a Group B fixture between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan on 09 September.
The schedule was confirmed by Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday, following the ACC’s annual general meeting in Dhaka. The tournament’s future had briefly been uncertain following India-Pakistan tensions earlier this year, but the event was greenlit after consensus at the AGM.
While India are the official hosts of this edition, a BCCI-PCB agreement ensures that matches involving India and Pakistan are played at neutral venues through 2027. Under this arrangement, India played all their matches in Dubai during the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan earlier this year, including their final victory.
