Bangladesh Armed Forces shines at International Quran Competition

The 10th International Hifzul Quran Competition-2025 took place in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, from January 31 to February 4, 2025, with the participation of 179 military personnel from 32 countries across the globe. This prestigious competition, organized by Saudi Arabia, witnessed a remarkable display of faith and talent from military members worldwide.

Bangladesh was well represented in the competition, with 6 participants from the Bangladesh Armed Forces—5 from the Bangladesh Navy and 1 from the Army. These participants competed in various categories, including the 3 Para, 5 Para, 10 Para, 20 Para, and 30 Para Hifz (memorization) and recitation events.

The Bangladesh Armed Forces achieved outstanding success in the competition. Sabbir Hossain from the Bangladesh Navy secured 2nd place in the 3 Para group, while Md. Golam Rabbani, also from the Bangladesh Navy, took 2nd place in the 10 Para Hifz group. Both winners earned gold medals, bringing immense pride and honor to Bangladesh and the armed forces.
