Bangladesh, China and Russia participates in Pakistani naval exercise

Pakistan has launched the 9th multinational naval exercise ‘Aman-25’ in the North Arabian Sea, with participation from Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States Navy.

According to a report on Sunday (February 9) by Pakistani media outlet The Dawn, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, the Chief of Pakistan Navy, stated during the inspection of foreign naval vessels, that the ‘Aman Exercise’ reflects Pakistan’s commitment to peace, strengthens regional maritime security, and enhances interoperability between regional and international naval forces.

The Navy chief inspected the naval vessels from Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.

During the inspection, while interacting with senior officers and commanding officers, Admiral Naveed Ashraf emphasized, “Pakistan believes in cooperative efforts to maintain maritime security and order at sea.”

In the same spirit, he noted that the Pakistan Navy continuously contributes to regional peace and stability through initiatives like Regional Maritime Security Patrol (RMSP) and the multinational ‘Aman’ exercise.

The Navy chief expressed confidence that the cooperation and partnership developed through ‘Aman’ would grow in the future, bringing them closer to their shared goal of peace and prosperity.
