A young Bangladeshi national tragically lost his life in a road accident in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The deceased has been identified as Ishaq Sayed, 21, son of Khorshed Alam from Araibari village under Khasba Municipality.
According to family sources, the accident occurred around 3:00 AM local time on Wednesday when Ishaq, while delivering food, was struck by a truck. He had been working as a delivery rider for a company named “Hunger Station” in Saudi Arabia.
“He left for Saudi Arabia in August last year in hopes of a better future. Today, I lost my son,” said Khorshed Alam, the grieving father. “I earnestly urge the government to help bring my son’s body back home as soon as possible.”
Liberty News’ Middle East correspondent reports that locals described Ishaq as well-mannered and hardworking. His untimely death has cast a pall of mourning over the community.
