Following a nine-day holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr, banks, financial institutions, government offices, courts, and the stock market in Bangladesh will reopen today at 10 AM.
The nation celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the biggest Muslim festivals, last Monday. In advance of the holiday, the government extended the official Eid vacation to six days, from March 29 to April 3. With the addition of regular weekends—March 28, April 4, and April 5—public sector employees enjoyed a total of nine consecutive days off.
Banking services will resume with transaction hours set from 10 AM to 4 PM, while office hours will run from 10 AM to 6 PM.
