The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has destroyed drugs worth 2 crore taka, which were seized at different times in Nilphamari. The destruction took place on Thursday afternoon at the training ground of the Nilphamari Battalion.
The Chief Guest at the drug destruction event was Brigadier General SM Zahidur Rahman, the Regional Commander of the Rangpur Region Headquarters.
Also present at the event were Colonel Golam Rabbani, Sector Commander of Thakurgaon District, Lieutenant Colonel Monirul Islam, Commander of the Panchagarh Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Sheikh Mohammad Badruddoza, Commander of the Nilphamari Battalion, and Nilphamari Chief Judicial Magistrate Saiful Islam, among others.
