Anamul Haque Bijoy has formally submitted a legal notice addressed to the BPL Governing Council’s President and Advisor, personally delivering it to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) headquarters on Monday. He confirmed that the board has officially received the notice and stated that all relevant documents — including his lawyer’s contact information — have already been shared with officials.
“I have sent a legal notice to the BCB, addressed to the President of the BPL Governing Council and to the Advisor. My reason for coming to the BCB today was to submit it in person. The BCB has received it, and regarding whatever conversation or next steps may follow, as you already know, I have also submitted everything to you individually on WhatsApp,” Bijoy told reporters.
“All the documents I have, along with the notice I issued to the BCB, include my lawyer’s number as well. If you have anything to say, you can speak to him later. I hope he will hold a press briefing tomorrow. I will speak to you again after that,” he added.
The development comes after eight Bangladeshi cricketers — including Bijoy — were omitted from the final BPL auction draft amid an ongoing investigation into suspected corruption within the tournament.
