The Biman Bangladesh Airlines cancelled two flights bound for Kuwait and Dubai on Tuesday due to a shortage of aircrafts, amid a recent uptick in technical glitches suffered in its fleet.
ABM Rowshan Kabir, general manager of public relations at the airlines, told reporters that the two flights from the capital have been rescheduled on Wednesday.
Two Boeing 787 Dreamliners were set to operate the Dhaka-Kuwait flight at 3:45pm, and the Dhaka-Dubai flight at 3:55pm.
Over the past month, Biman has had to ground or keep idle at least nine aircrafts due to technical glitches.
