Gabtali (Bogura) Correspondent: The Gabtali upazila and municipality units of the Swechchhasebak Dal (Volunteer Wing of BNP) held a workers’ conference on April 30 in Bogura’s Gabtali.
The event was presided over by Rakibul Hasan Hiruu, convenor of the Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal, while Paban Sarker, convenor of the Municipal Swechchhasebak Dal, served as the co-president.
Morshed Milton, Vice-President of Bogura District BNP and President of Gabtali Upazila BNP, attended the conference as the chief guest.
The conference was inaugurated by Sorkar Mukul, President of Bogura District Swechchhasebak Dal. Rakibul Islam Shuvo, General Secretary of the District Swechchhasebak Dal, delivered the keynote speech.
The event was conducted by Suja Uddin and Abdur Rahman Limon, member-secretaries of the upazila and municipal Swechchhasebak Dal units, respectively.
Distinguished guests included Enamul Haque Natun, General Secretary of both the District and Upazila BNP; MR Hasan Palash, General Secretary of the District Chhatra Dal; Ashraf Uddin, Senior Vice-President of Gabtali Upazila BNP; Harun-or-Rashid, Joint General Secretary of Gabtali Municipality BNP; and Mominul Haque Momin, Organising Secretary of Upazila BNP, along with Sagar and other leaders from BNP’s associated organisations at the district and upazila levels.
The conference commenced with the hoisting of the national and party flags, followed by the release of balloons and doves in front of the local BNP office.
