The BNP will hold a meeting with the Chief Adviser of the Interim Government, Professor Muhammad Yunus, on Monday (February 10). However, the final list of BNP representatives attending the meeting has not been confirmed yet.
When asked about it, Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Chairperson’s Media Wing, told Liberty News, “The meeting with the Chief Adviser is scheduled for tomorrow at 6 PM.”
According to BNP sources, the party will raise concerns about the current political situation during the meeting. They will also convey the message of continued cooperation with the Interim Government. Additionally, discussions might include the announcement of the roadmap for the upcoming elections.
It is reported that BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and the party’s Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury are expected to return to the country this afternoon after their visit to the United States. The two leaders are scheduled to meet with the Chief Adviser.
