Hoichoi’s much-anticipated original series Bohemian Ghora, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and starring the versatile Mosharraf Karim, is set to premiere on June 5. The trailer has already sparked widespread buzz, offering a glimpse into a complex, multi-layered tale of love, deception, and identity.

The nearly two-minute trailer of Bohemian Ghora introduces viewers to Abbas, a truck driver who has secretly married seven women across various districts—each unaware of the others. Abbas adapts a different personality for every wife, maintaining separate lives with the help of his loyal truck helper, Selim. However, disaster strikes after his eighth marriage, forcing Abbas into a whirlwind of emotional and moral conflict.

Mosharraf Karim plays the central role of Abbas, showcasing his remarkable range in a character that is equal parts charming, conflicted, and deeply flawed. Known for intense performances in series like Mohanagar and Mobaraknama, Karim takes on a surprising comedic twist in this series. “We’ve done our part. Now we wait for the audience’s verdict,” said the actor.

Starring opposite Karim are a host of celebrated actresses—Runa Khan, Moushumi Hamid, Sadia Ayman, Tanzika Amin, Robena Reza Jui, Farhana Hamid, Aditi, and Brishti—each portraying a unique wife with her own emotional depth and backstory. From a honey-hunter to a bubbly youngster, these roles reflect the diversity of Abbas’s entangled life.

Notable newcomers Aditi and Brishti also make their debut, while familiar faces like Rakib Hossain Evan, Ashok Byapari, Sumon Patwari, Pankaj Majumder, Sayyeda, and Shariful appear in supporting roles.

Speaking about casting choices, director Amitabh Reza said, “Everyone involved is close to my heart. Abbas needed to be magnetic, able to win over women easily while battling inner turmoil. I needed someone skilled in method acting, and Mosharraf is one of the few in this city who can transform seamlessly from one persona to another.”

Bohemian Ghora blends comedy, mystery, and heartfelt storytelling—where laughter masks sorrow, and falsehood hides love. The trailer is now live on Hoichoi Bangladesh’s YouTube channel and all major social media platforms.
