Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus has described Chattogram Port as the “heart of the national economy,” emphasizing its crucial role in driving Bangladesh’s economic transformation and attracting foreign investment.
During a visit to Chattogram Port on Wednesday morning, Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus highlighted the strategic and economic importance of the country’s largest seaport. “There can be no new economic pathway without this port,” he said.
He underscored that revitalizing the nation’s economy depends heavily on the smooth functioning and development of Chattogram Port. “If this port runs efficiently, foreign investors will show greater interest in Bangladesh,” he stated.
Dr. Yunus also pointed out that Chattogram Port holds regional significance, serving not just Bangladesh but also playing a vital role for neighboring countries in trade and logistics.
