CA meets Japan PM Shigeru Ishiba

In a high-level diplomatic meeting on Friday, Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus met with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba in Tokyo to discuss deepening bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tokyo, where Prof. Yunus was honored with a formal Guard of Honour upon arrival in the morning.

Sources from the Chief Adviser’s press wing stated that the discussion focused on enhancing the ongoing partnership between Bangladesh and Japan in various sectors, aiming to elevate mutual cooperation to new heights.

The leaders expressed commitment to strengthening economic collaboration, expanding development initiatives, and promoting cultural exchange.

This meeting marks a significant step toward reinforcing strategic ties between the two countries as they continue to build a shared vision for sustainable development and regional stability.
