CA Yunus, Modi exchange Eid-ul-Azha greetings

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi exchanged heartfelt Eid-ul-Azha greetings, underscoring the shared spirit of harmony and cooperation between Bangladesh and India.

In a letter dated June 6, Prof Yunus thanked PM Modi for his thoughtful message and extended his own Eid greetings. Describing the festival as a time of reflection and unity, he emphasized shared values and expressed hope for continued bilateral cooperation based on mutual respect and understanding.

Earlier, on June 4, PM Modi had conveyed greetings on behalf of the Indian government and its people. In his message, Modi highlighted Eid-ul-Azha as an integral part of India’s cultural fabric and praised its values of sacrifice, compassion, and brotherhood.

The interim government shared the full exchange of messages on its official social media platforms Sunday, showcasing the ongoing diplomatic warmth between the two nations.

Both leaders wished each other good health and prosperity, reinforcing their commitment to regional peace and collaboration during this festive period.
