Chief Adviser Yunus to visit Aynaghor

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is set to visit Aynaghor, a site infamous for holding victims of enforced disappearances, in a move that is expected to draw both national and international attention.

According to a press release issued by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing, the decision was made during a meeting of the Council of Advisers on Thursday. Local and foreign media will accompany Yunus during his visit, underscoring the significance of the initiative.

Government Focuses on Economic Stability Ahead of Ramadan

In the same meeting, discussions centered on ensuring a stable supply of essential commodities ahead of Ramadan. Measures were reviewed to facilitate large-scale imports and efficient transportation of goods through the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) to curb price volatility.

Additionally, the council addressed the importance of maintaining an uninterrupted power supply during the holy month, aiming to alleviate public hardships.
