Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor of the interim government, inaugurated a three-day District Commissioner (DC) conference on Sunday morning, February 16, at 10:30 AM. The opening ceremony took place at the Shapla Hall of the Chief Advisor’s Office. During the conference, the Chief Advisor will engage in an open discussion with the DCs.
This year’s DC conference will address 353 proposals from across the country. The highest priority will be given to improving the law and order situation in the country. Additionally, the conference will focus on public services, alleviating public suffering, road construction, amendments to laws regulations, other matters of public interest.
According to sources from the Cabinet Division, participating District Commissioners (DCs) and Divisional Commissioners will present various proposals at the DC conference. This year’s conference will feature a total of 34 working sessions with different ministries departments.
The working sessions will be held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium. However, the working session with the Cabinet Division and the concluding session will take place at the newly constructed building of the Cabinet Division in the Secretariat. The Secretary of the Cabinet Division will chair these sessions, the advisors in charge of respective ministries will provide guidance on implementing their ministry’s programs at the field level.
