Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed held a meeting with Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the latter’s official residence, Jamuna, on Sunday afternoon.
According to sources from CA’s office, the Chief Justice arrived at Jamuna around 5:00 PM and departed at approximately 5:30 PM after a private discussion.
However, details of the meeting remain confidential.
This high-level meeting comes as the Chief Advisor is engaged in back-to-back consultations with leaders from various political and religious parties to build consensus around the upcoming national elections, which he has pledged will take place between December 2025 and June 30, 2026.
As the Chief Justice exited, leaders from eleven political parties entered Jamuna for the first round of meetings scheduled with the Chief Advisor at 5:20 PM.
