A new CNN survey reveals that most Americans hold a negative view of President Donald Trump’s actions since taking office, with a growing divide in public opinion.

For the first time since taking office, President Donald Trump is set to deliver a speech at a joint session of Congress. However, following his inauguration on January 20, his decisions and approach to governing have led to increasing disapproval among Americans, according to a recent CNN poll conducted by SSRS.

The poll considered three main aspects: how closely Americans agree with Trump, whether his priorities are deemed correct, and if his policies are steering the country in the right direction. The results showed that 52% of participants disagreed with Trump’s actions, while 48% supported him.

Similar findings emerged in a February CNN poll, and this latest survey was completed before a tense meeting between President Trump and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, which had no impact on the results.

Liberty News’ international correspondent states that the survey revealed that Trump still enjoys strong support among Republicans, with 90% agreeing with his leadership. However, his popularity remains low among Democrats, with 90% disapproving of his direction for the country.
