To commemorate the anniversary of the historic July mass uprising of 2024, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs will host a special event titled “July Reawakening” at Dhaka University (DU) on Sunday (14 July).
The programme includes live performances by popular artistes Shayan, Elita Karim, Parsa, and bands F Minor and Ila Lala.
At midnight, a drone show named “July Bishad Sindhu” will light up the sky above the Raju Memorial Sculpture, offering a symbolic tribute to the sacrifices made during the movement.
