Bangladesh recorded two new deaths and four fresh cases of Covid-19 in the 24 hours leading up to Saturday morning, according to data released by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
With these additions, the country’s total death toll from the virus has reached 29,510, while the confirmed case count now stands at 2,051,942.
Health authorities tested 211 samples during the reporting period, yielding a daily positivity rate of 1.90%. The overall positivity rate since the start of the pandemic stands at 13.05%, while the case fatality rate remains unchanged at 1.44%.
