Mohammadpur police have arrested 16 individuals, including professional muggers, in a special crackdown targeting various criminal activities.
On Wednesday, DMP Media DC Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the arrests. The operation was conducted on Tuesday across different areas of Mohammadpur.
The arrested individuals include Shahed, Sabuj Munshi, Sabuj Akash, Sabina, Javed, Billal (Bhatija Billal), Billal Hossain, Jewel, Bellal, Ibrahim, Rony, Liton, Sagar, Biplob Rony, Zakir, and Imam.
Liberty News’ court correspondent states that, according to Mohammadpur police sources, all detainees have been sent to court.
