The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification for the promotion of 764 people to the post of Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Grade-1 and Secretary out of the 1500 officials (retired) who applied for deprivation during the Awami League period.
On Sunday (February 9), five notifications have been issued by the Ministry of Public Administration. Half of their dues will be paid in the current financial year. They will get the rest of the money next year.
119 on the post of secretary, 41 on the post of grade-1, 528 on the post of additional secretary, 72 on the post of joint secretary and 4 on the post of deputy secretary have been given ex parte promotion.
Before this, the application review committee of the retired officers who were not promoted recommended the promotion of these officers.
