Dr. Yunus calls for peace and unity on Eid

In a heartfelt message during an Eid greeting event, Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus emphasized the need for peace, unity, and harmony, urging the nation to move forward without fear and division.

Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus expressed his desire for peace in the country during an Eid greeting ceremony at his office in Tejgaon on Monday afternoon. He stated, “Today is a day we remember every day. We want peace in our country so that people can live freely, pursuing their own interests without fear. We wish well for everyone and seek peace not only for our nation but for the entire world.”

Dr. Yunus highlighted the significance of unity and mutual understanding, stressing that Eid symbolizes reconciliation, leaving the past behind and moving forward together. “We have managed to establish such a day in society, and it is a great blessing for us,” he added.

He further explained that Eid is not just a regular day, but one where people embrace each other through traditional greetings and unity. “This is the law of religion—to greet and unite everyone as one,” he said.

Dr. Yunus also emphasized the importance of societal welfare, urging people to make efforts toward peace and unity. “This Eid is especially crucial for bringing us closer together and reducing distances between us. Unity is vital for our society this time,” he concluded.
