The elections for DUCSU and hall unions will be held on 9 September, Chief Returning Officer Prof Dr Mohammad Jashim Uddin said on Tuesday afternoon.
He was addressing a press briefing at the Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of Dhaka University.
For the first time, the polls will be held outside student dormitories to ensure adequate turnout and fairness, he confirmed.
The selected voting centres are: Curzon Hall, Physical Education Center, Teacher-Student Center (TSC), Dhaka University Club, Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban and Udayan Higher Secondary School and College.
