EC to meet with 18 ambassadors

The Election Commission (EC) is set to meet with ambassadors from 18 development partner countries, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The meeting will take place on Tuesday (February 11) at the Election Commission building in Agargaon, Dhaka.

The Election Commission (EC) has announced that at 11 AM, a high-level discussion will take place between the EC and ambassadors from 18 development partner countries, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The session, set to be chaired by Chief Election Commissioner A. M. M. Nasiruddin, will also be attended by the four other commissioners and the EC Secretary.

Liberty News’ national correspondent reports that the meeting will include ambassadors from Italy, Spain, Germany, Norway, Sweden, South Korea, and Turkey. Additionally, two representatives from the Japanese Embassy, two from the Swiss Embassy, one from the British High Commission, one from the Canadian High Commission, one from the Australian High Commission, one from the Chinese Embassy, one from the Netherlands Embassy and a representative from the French Embassy are expected to attend.
