The toll plaza on the elevated expressway’s airport ramp will remain toll-free for four hours on Thursday for vehicles entering Dhaka city.
Vehicles entering the capital can get on the ramp without paying any charges from 11:00am to 3:00pm on Thursday, said the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing on Wednesday.
Massive traffic is expected in and around the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport as well as in other parts of the capital on Thursday as BNP activists from across the country would line the routes leading to the airport to welcome Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman following his 17-year-long exile in London.
