BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu stated that the national crisis will be resolved if the national elections are held at a reasonable time. He expressed confidence in the interim government, emphasizing that it will quickly implement reforms and restore democracy, ensuring people’s rights.
Speaking at a workers’ conference in Rangpur on Monday, Dudu said that the interim government has capable members, some of whom have been involved in past uprisings. He urged for national unity to overcome misunderstandings and avoid any disruptions in law and order or the market system.
He also warned the interim government’s chief advisor not to take actions that could erode public trust and harm their reputation. Dudu highlighted the ongoing support from BNP and other political parties towards the advisor, urging caution against any attempts to manipulate or tarnish their image.
BNP Organizing Secretary, Professor Asadul Habib Dulu, reiterated that the party is always election-ready and that no conspiracy will be able to suppress BNP’s participation in the political process.
Liberty News’ local correspondent reports the event was chaired by BNP’s Rangpur City Convenor Samsuzzaman Samu, with key leaders such as Asadul Habib Dulu, Abdul Khalek, and Mahfujun Nabi Don present.
