Bollywood actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has finally addressed the longstanding rumors of a romantic relationship with Aamir Khan, calling the gossip mentally exhausting and misleading.
The speculation began in 2021, shortly after Aamir Khan and his second wife Kiran Rao jointly announced their separation. Following the split, Aamir’s name was linked with his Dangal co-star Fatima, who had played the role of his daughter in the film.
Speaking in multiple interviews, Fatima expressed how deeply the rumors affected her mental well-being. “Suddenly, people who don’t even know me started writing about my life. They didn’t even care whether it was true or false. If they had asked me, I could’ve given them the answer myself,” she said.
She admitted feeling disturbed by the public speculation and added, “It really bothers me. I don’t want people to form a wrong opinion about me. But now, I’ve learned to avoid it. Still, some days are really tough.”
Despite the controversy, Fatima has praised Aamir Khan for being easy to work with and called her experience on Dangal a positive one.
Currently, Aamir Khan is reported to be in a relationship with Bengaluru-based Gauri Spratt.
