A fire has broken out at a garment factory named Ayesha Garments in Ashulia of Savar. Six units of the Fire Service department rushed there to bring the blaze under control.
The fire started around 12:15 pm on Monday at the factory located opposite to Fantasy Kingdom in the Jamgora area of Ashulia. As of 1:00pm, when this report was filed, the fire had not yet been brought under control.
Sabuj Islam, a firefighter from Zirabo Modern Fire Station, told media that they received information about the fire at Ayesha Garments shortly after noon. Three units from the Zirabo Fire Station and three from DEPZ were working at the scene to extinguish the flames.
