A team of five specialist doctors arrived at the Evercare Hospital in Dhaka to assist in the treatment of critically ill BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
The team, comprising mostly Chinese specialists, reached the hospital around 2:50pm. Shortly afterwards, they were scheduled to convene a meeting with Khaleda’s medical board.
BNP Vice-Chairman Advocate Ahmed Azam Khan told reporters that Khaleda’s condition has turned critical again. She was put on life support on Sunday night, he added.
