Foundation laid for Azahar-Shafik Technical College in Bogura

Gabtali (Bogra) Correspondent: The foundation stone for the Azahar-Shafik Foundation Technical College was laid on Tuesday in Buruj village of Nepaltili Union under Gabtali upazila. The ceremony, followed by a discussion event, was held on the college premises.

The event was presided over by A.K.M. Shafiqul Islam Ranzu, the founder of the Azahar-Shafik Foundation. Hafizur Rahman, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Gabtali, attended the event as the chief guest.

Among the special guests were Morshed Milton, Vice President of Bogura District BNP and President of Gabtali Upazila BNP; Serajul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Gabtali Model Police Station; M.R. Hasan Palash, General Secretary of Bogura District Chhatra Dal; Zulfikar Haidar Gama, Vice President of Gabtali Upazila BNP and President of Nepaltili Union BNP as well as former UP Chairman; the college’s acting principal Mostafizur Rahman; and noted journalist Mizanur Rahman.

The event was attended by a large number of local dignitaries and political leaders. Prior to the discussion, the guests formally unveiled the foundation plaque and offered prayers for the future success of the institution.
