The Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources has announced that fuel prices will remain unchanged for April, with the same rates as those set for March.
The Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources issued a notification on Monday stating that fuel prices will remain consistent for the month of April. This follows the price adjustment made in February, when the cost of petrol, octane, diesel, and kerosene rose by one taka per liter compared to January rates.
According to the ministry’s statement, fuel prices are adjusted monthly in line with fluctuations in the global market. However, for April 2025, the prices are being kept unchanged. The pricing structure for the coming month will be as follows:
- Diesel: 105.00 BDT per liter
- Kerosene: 105.00 BDT per liter
- Octane: 126.00 BDT per liter
- Petrol: 122.00 BDT per liter
